These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of Ars Somnii, a private dreamwork notebook for capturing dreams, organizing symbols and motifs, and generating reflective hypotheses and experiments. By using Ars Somnii, you agree to these terms.
1. Reflective Tool, Not Clinical Care
Ars Somnii is designed for journaling, self-reflection, symbolic exploration, and personal organization. It is not therapy, medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, crisis support, or a substitute for a licensed professional. If you are experiencing an emergency or may harm yourself or others, contact emergency services or a crisis support provider immediately.
2. Your Account
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. Please provide accurate account information and notify us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without authorization.
3. Your Content
You retain ownership of dreams, journal entries, comments, associations, uploaded materials, and other content you add to Ars Somnii. You grant us the limited permission needed to store, process, display, and analyze your content so we can provide the service to you.
You are responsible for the content you submit. Do not upload content that violates the rights of others, is unlawful, or is intended to abuse, disrupt, or compromise the service.
4. AI-Assisted Features
Ars Somnii may use model-backed features to summarize dreams, extract symbols and motifs, generate reflective questions, propose hypotheses, or suggest experiments. These outputs may be incomplete, inaccurate, or not appropriate for your situation. Use your own judgment and treat AI output as reflective material, not authority.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to misuse Ars Somnii, attempt to bypass security controls, scrape or overload the service, reverse engineer private systems, upload malicious files, infringe intellectual property rights, or use the service for unlawful or harmful purposes.
6. Service Changes and Availability
We may improve, change, suspend, or discontinue parts of Ars Somnii over time. We aim to keep the service reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or that all features will remain unchanged.
